Job Title: Senior Bunker Trader (EMEA)

New opportunity for an Experienced Bunker / Marine Fuels Trader to join an International trade house to expand the company’s presence within the EMEA region. The company has established itself within Key shipping ports offering expertise in Sourcing and supply chain within the Marine Fuels sector, continuing to expand its market share we are seeking an experienced bunker trader with expertise in sourcing within Africa & Europe, trading Globally.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Trading Marine Fuels / Bunkers globally with a focus on building a profitable book of business across the EMEA region.
- Responsible for building key supply relations across Europe and Africa, Sourcing Marine Fuels, Bunkers, MGO, LSFO, Fuel Oil, Lubricants for shipowners, Charterers, Operators etc.
- Provide Sourcing and purchasing solutions for clients withing the Marine fuel / Lubricants market.
- Managing the full trade cycle from initial enquiry through to Physical delivery of the Bunkers, ensuring all documentations, operations, financing are executed timely and efficiently.
- Negotiate Contract and spot trades and purchases of Marine fuel / Gas oil / Bunkers / Lubricants.
- Identify new opportunities for the company to win new business / enquiries, strengthen supply relations to offer best price / availability for Global clients.
Requirements:
- 4+ Years’ experience within a Physical Supplier / Back to Back trading house with proven track record.
- Experience working with own portfolio of Shipowners, Charterers, Operators, Traders, Brokers in the Sale and purchase of marine fuels.
- An established network of suppliers across the EMEA region, Knowledge of key participants across Africa and Europe.
- Knowledge of Marine fuel, procurement, purchasing processes and documentations to ensure quality and price efficiency.
- Experience building and managing a profitable portfolio of business within the Bunker / Marine Fuels or Lubricants sector.
- Ability to work remotely with regular travel to company offices globally.
