Imperium is led by Jonathan Margrave, Mark Taylor and Zuzana Zvolenská, bringing together experience across recruitment, commodity search, research and market intelligence.
Since 2018, the business has remained deliberately boutique, with a close-knit team working across international commodity markets and supporting the relationships, research and conversations behind our work.
Our structure combines senior leadership with dedicated search, research and market-intelligence capability, allowing different expertise to come together around the requirements of each project and the markets we cover.
The result is a business that remains personal and specialist while drawing on a broader team behind the three people profiled on this page.

Jonathan Margrave
Co-Founder | CEO
Jonathan brings more than 30 years of recruitment experience across major firms and specialist boutiques. He co-founded Imperium in 2018 to build a focused, research-led approach to commodity search. Today, he leads the business, senior relationships and strategic mandates across international commodity markets, with a focus on executive search, leadership appointments and long-term client partnerships.

Mark Taylor
Co-Founder | Managing Partner
Mark brings a background in sales, recruitment and more than a decade specialising in commodity search. He co-founded Imperium in 2018 and works across search strategy, executive appointments and the development of the firm’s wider services. His work spans individual search mandates, Search Partnerships, market intelligence, Team Moves and strategic growth projects across international commodity markets.

Zuzana Zvolenská
Head of Research & Resourcing
Zuzana joined Imperium in 2020 and leads the firm’s research and resourcing capability. A multilingual headhunter with a background in sales and business development, she works across market mapping, salary benchmarking, candidate research and direct outreach, while supporting coverage across Central and Eastern Europe and wider international markets.
