Imperium Commodity Search is exclusively covering a Senior Bunker Trading position with a leading Global Trading house head quartered in the Shipping hub of Singapore. The firm are continuing their global expansion strategy into 2022 seeking a Senior trader to promote the companies worldwide trading and Asia supply business within Europe. With an ever-growing presence in the market the group are looking to continue their service offerings within the marine fuel market to European customers and suppliers from Denmark.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Trading Marine Fuels / Bunkers globally with a focus on promoting the groups services to European customers and Suppliers.
  • Lead the Trading and marketing business to expand the groups trading activities across NWE, Mediterranean and Scandinavia primarily.
  • Responsible for promoting the company’s physical locations across Asia to European and Global Ship owners, Operators, Traders, Brokers within the market.
  • Sourcing Marine Fuels, Bunkers, MGO, LSFO, Fuel Oil etc. within Europe building supplier relations to increase procurement efficiency within the region.
  • Provide transparent and bespoke trading and supply strategies for customers within the marine fuel / bunker market.
  • Negotiate Contract and spot trades and purchases of Marine fuel / Gas oil / Bunkers / Lubricants.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years’ experience trading Marine fuels / Bunkers for a trading house / Supplier / Major.
  • Experience building profitable customer portfolio within the Bunker sector, focused on European geography.
  • An established network across suppliers, Ship Owners, Traders, Operators, Brokers etc within the marine fuels market.
  • Knowledge of Marine fuel procurement, purchasing processes, hedging tools, derivatives, and documentations to ensure quality and price efficiency.
  • Located in the Denmark (or willing to work remotely)
