Imperium Commodity Search is working with an established Shipbroker with over a century of experience broking vessels within the global waters. With the Head office located in London they are seeking an experienced Tanker Project Broker to join their established desk. The company has a strong reputation in time charter, Projects – new builds, demolition within the wet sector, and looking to expand their offerings and market presence further.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and Maintain relations within the International shipping market focused on the Tanker with Owners, Operators, Shipyards, and Investors.
  • Responsible for the Time Charter of Tankers across Asia, Europe, Middle East, and US servicing the requirements of Clients internationally.
  • Promote the company’s unique offerings and solutions regarding their Tanker projects overseeing the new-build and demolition projects globally.
  • Provide up to date and accurate market data and analysis on the tanker sector focused on the Sale and Purchase of CPP, DPP and Chemical Carriers.
  • Ensure all documentation and policies are completed, following all maritime regulations in regard to the Sale & Purchase of Tankers.

Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience Ship broking within the International Tanker Market.
  • Previous experience covering the Tanker Projects, time charter or Sale & Purchase Markets.
  • Ability to build strong relation with Vessel owners, Operators to become broker of choice within a competitive market, Promoting the Time charter and project offerings.
  • Located in the UK (or willing to relocate)
  • Fluent in English (Another Language is beneficial)
