Title: Structurer – Structured Products Sales Desk
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: Base + Bonus (up to 100% of base)
Location: London, UK

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a mid-sized financial institution with desks across commodities, structured products and energy business.  With an established business in key geographies across a diversified structured products business, the need has arisen to add a further structurer to the team to support the desk in analysis and client facing structuring support.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support the front office team with key projects, live mandates and prioritised structuring tasks
  • Manage qualitative and quantitative research tasks
  • Automization of sturcutred products projects
  • Report on performance of structured products and liaise with internal teams and clients on ideas, reporting and analysis
  • Manage trade reporting, analysis and review
  • Assist front office team in client interactions to discuss structuring and structured products ideas, analysis and performance reporting
  • Work with internal teams to deliver outstanding macro-trade ideas, statistical and financial analysis

Requirements:

  • Degree educated in a relevant field; economics, finance, mathematics, quant, anlysis, global markets etc.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a financial institution, structured products or brokerage business in a structuring capacity
  • Excellent drive, commercial awareness and motivation
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, VBA etc.
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal.  Additional languages beneficial but not required (particularly Russian, French, Spanish, Portuguese)
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, high pace environment
