Imperium Commodity Search is working alongside a boutique trading house with a small team based in Netherlands looking for an individual with expertise on products such as pulses, seeds, dried fruit and nuts.
Our client is looking for a mid-level to senior person, to be based in the Netherlands and work alongside the team in the head office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage physical trading book on soft commodities (pulses, seeds, dried fruit, and nuts) across MENA/USA/LatAm/Asia
- Service existing clients while developing business and bringing on new clients within soft commodities specifically pulses, seeds, dried fruit, and nuts
- Work alongside other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products to maintain satisfied relationships
- Travel to meet clients/ attend industry events with the view of promoting the business and selling product to increase profitability
Requirements:
- 4+ years experiences working as a trader in a physical trading house
- Transferable business of pulses, seeds, dried fruit, and nuts across MENA/USA/LatAm/Asia
- Eligibility to work in the Netherlands
- Fluent in English and Dutch, other languages beneficial
- Must have solid connections within the soft commodity space
