New Exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified Claims Administrator to join and established Ship Operator providing numerous market leading services including commercial management, chartering services & ship agency. The company has continued to expand in recent times now seeking claims administrator to join the team in Norway.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for organising and reviewing all claims documents to be processed liaising with senior management and operations departments.
• Day to Day administration duties whilst overseeing and processing claims, ensuring all processes and formalities are followed.
• Extensive knowledge of Maritime claims procedures and documentations across Freight, Cargo, Damage or Loss claims.
• Communicating in a timely and efficient manor to ensure all parties both in house and third parties are informed throughout the process.
• Working with other departments within the company to help calculate and review claims and demurrage costs prior to executing claims documentations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 experience working within a ship owner or ship operator.
• Key knowledge of Maritime guidelines and procedures for claims documentation.
• Experience in processing Cargo, Freight and  Damage or Loss claims within the International shipping sector.
• Exceptional understanding of regulations and documentations relating to demurrage
• Located in Norway (or willing to relocate )
