Imperium Commodity Search is currently assisting a competitive Brokerage Firm in its search for a Senior Renewables Broker. The Company is continuing to use its wealth of experience to branch out into new markets to support its vast range of existing clients within the Energy Space. With a supportive and advanced structure, the company has experienced large success within the Energy Derivatives sector, due to this continued success the company is undergoing its next stage of growth with development of new product desks along with the addition of new Global offices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with the Directors and senior management team to establish market strategy and requirements to build a successful Renewables Brokerage Desk.
  • Hands on approach to develop profitable revenue within the Renewables Market (RECs, RINS, LCFS, Ethanol, Biodiesel) OTC & Exchange traded products.
  • Establish relations within the Renewables Energy Sector, promoting the company’s derivate products and brokerage services across Corporates, Institutions, Producers, Utilities, Trade Houses, Majors.
  • Negotiate and structure contracts and terms across Renewable Futures for OTC and exchange traded products.
  • Efficient Voice/Electronic Execution of Trades/Transactions both OTC and Listed products working closely with Mid/Back office teams.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ Broking Energy Futures, Experience within the Renewables Markets ( RECs, RINS, LCFS, Ethanol, Biodiesel)
  • Experience in building and managing profitable client portfolio with track record within the Renewable Energy sector.
  • Desire to work within an innovative and dynamic business to create a presence within a new market.
  • Excellent understanding of Derivate markets, Futures, Swaps, Options across OTC and Exchange Traded Products.
  • Ability to work closely with Senior management to produce market and growth strategies.
