Job Title: Senior Broker (Distillates Products – Physical)
Contract type: Permanent

Centred in London and primarily focused on the North-West Europe/ARA region broking physical oil products, our client is currently seeking an experienced broker to further expand product offerings and join the teams already focused on a variety of physical distillate products including gasoil/gasoline/fuel oil etc.

You will be working alongside market-leading brokers and management using dynamic platforms and innovative strategies which provide all the tools required for success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for broking/brokering physical distillate products across the North-West Europe (NWE) and MED Region.
  • Establish lasting relationships with oil majors/producers, along with the refineries, independent trading houses and customers alike.
  • Conduct market analysis within the chosen distillate markets (Gasoil, Fuel Oil, ULSD, Gasoline) to offer insight and innovative solutions to your customers.
  • To both supplier and end user offer risk management services, logistics and operational solutions across various ports in the NEW/ARA regions.
  • Manage client relations from beginning to end of transactions, ensuring competitive prices and product quality are top priorities.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of physical broking/brokering experience within a brokerage/trading house/major
  • Proven track record of building relations within the energy commodities market. Ability to transfer these relationships with you is important.
  • Strong understanding of the trends and geographies of various distillate products (Gasoil, Fuel Oil, ULSD, Gasoline and others) across the MED and NWE markets.
  • Comprehensive understanding of operational and logistical functions within the distillates market and, particularly, ports across North-West Europe.
