Imperium Commodity Search is working with a specialist marine services company within the Offshore renewable energy market which is continuing to grow globally. The company offers chartering services, sale & purchase along with investment and finance plans within the offshore sector.

With offices globally covering the key geographies of the offshore sector the company is seeking an experienced Offshore broker to join their Head office in Hamburg. Offering a key training and progression platform alongside market leading renumeration package.

Responsibilities: 

• Work with Shipowners and Offshore companies within the offshore sector to market the company’s Spot Charter services.
• Analyze and manage companies’ requirements for their offshore projects within the global market.
• Charter broker an exclusive and large pool of offshore vessels within various geographies globally including Europe, Asia and Middle East.
• Preparation of charter parties documentation and all contractual documentation required for business.
• Execute contract negotiations for various company offerings including time charter, Spot charter, voyage, and bareboat charters.

Experience:

• 5 – 10 years’ experience focused on offshore chartering within a Shipbrokers.
• Strong network within the Global offshore shipping sector – Project Management companies and Offshore vessel owners across the global markets.
• Ability to prepare, negotiate and manage all charter documentation for both client and vessel owner.
• Previous experience working as a shipbroker within the Offshore or related markets for an International company.
• Working proficiency in English (German, Dutch or Danish beneficial)
