Imperium Commodity Search is working with an energy brokerage house providing Over-the-counter/ Listed execution services to Institutional clients. They have existing operations in Singapore and Switzerland and are looking to set up a new desk in London with the addition of a senior Gasoline Broker (potential team move).

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Build out and maintain relationships with institutional clients across the gasoline market
• Be key player in assisting business build out a successful Gasoline desk in London
• Ensure smooth execution of trades on OTC futures/ swaps contracts to keep clients satisfied across Gasoline
• Keep up to date with the oil market to know current movements and trends to guarantee trade fulfilment in line with plans
• Actively markets the business and its offerings to client’s and attend any events to promote the company where necessary
• Advise clients on trading choices and execution, providing hedging advice when required
• Present effective execution solutions to clients in a fast-moving market
• Work with higher management to develop plans to grow the London operations on Gasoline

Requirements:

• No less than 5 years’ experience within an energy brokerage house on the paper desk
• Must have previous experience running an OTC gasoline book on futures/ swaps
• Sound knowledge of the derivatives market with a key focus on futures and swaps
• Must have a profitable book of institutional book of clients across energy including gasoline
• Sound knowledge of the energy markets
• Experience setting up a desk from scratch highly beneficial
• English essential, any additional languages beneficial
