Job Title:  Senior Dairy Trader

Imperium Commodity Search is representing a market leading global trading house in the Agricultural sector, with a strong market presence and unprecedented reputation. Our client is currently expanding their Dairy team, seeking a trader to join their established trading desk in the UK. Our client trades across the dairy space offering client led solutions along with in-depth innovative risk and market analysis.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop an International trading book across dairy products (butter, milk powders, cheese and proteins) on a physical basis.
  • Actively develop and retain new business relationships on the sourcing and sales side across dairy products within Europe, Asia and US.
  • Work closely with Operations teams to ensure clients tailored requirements are executed efficiently.
  • Provide live market analysis to clients – Customers and Producers to build strong transparent market relations.
  • Understanding of the Dairy financial markets and Exchanges such as CME, to analyse market and pricing data.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience in a physical / Financial trading position covering the Dairy Markets including (Cheese, Milk powders, Proteins, butter)
  • Proven experience building a profitable trading portfolio within the dairy market.
  • Knowledge of the global Dairy markets with the ability to provide accurate market analysis and data.
  • Relations with Dairy Producers, Farms, Co-ops through to customers across Europe, Asia and US.
  • Located in the London or willing to relocate.
