Title: Senior Dairy Trader
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Poland/Remote with some regular travel to office in Warsaw
Salary – 25% commission split +shares in the business

Imperium Commodity Search is currently working with a newly established physical Dairy Trading company looking to aggressively grow their team and develop international offices. We’re looking for Traders that have interest in helping to build and grow with the business and subsequently earn a stake within the company.

If you’re a senior trader within the dairy industry and have a book of business across any product/geography, looking for an opportunity with the growth potential to run an office/head a desk. We’d like to speak with you.

Responsibilities:

• Trade physical dairy products on a back to back basis (milk/whey powders, liquids, cheese, butters)
• Develop business across Europe/Middle East/Africa/Asia/US, travelling to meet clients when required
• Communicate with other departments within the business across logistics/finance/legal to ensure trades are executed smoothly
• Carry out research and analysis on prospective clients to establish viability of projects
• Regularly discuss with directors’ new approaches to growing business and breaking into new markets/products

Experience:

• More than 4 years’ experience in a trading position managing P&L
• Excellent knowledge on the dairy industry across milk/whey powders, liquids, cheese, butters
• Experienced in successfully developing business and onboarding new clients
• Must be willing to spend 3-6 months based in Warsaw to get settled in and established
• Must speak English, an additional language is preferred (German, French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Dutch, Mandarin etc.)
