Title: Senior Bunker Trader

Salary: Negotiable – Dependent on Experience
Imperium Commodity Search is working with a long-standing trading company within the Bunker / Marine fuels industry with multiple locations globally. With operations within the Mediterranean and a global B2B trading team. With IMO 2020 around the corner, our client is looking for an experienced trader to establish business within Cyprus.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for establishing new business within the region covering Bunkers / Marine Fuel / MFO / MGO / Lubricants.
- Handle bunker enquiries globally liaising with the operations department to ensure timely and efficient execution of deliveries.
- Essential to build key relations with Ship owners, Traders, and operators within the Greek and NWE shipping markets.
- Provide clear business strategies for the Stay on top of market news and insight, understanding market analysis within global ports and pricing.
Experience:
- 4-7 years’ experience in a back to back bunker / marine fuel trading position
- Solid understanding of the North West Europe and Greek bunker markets
- Understanding Hedging and pricing tools to facilitate confident and effective trading of bunkers / marine fuels
- Fluent in English (Additional Language would be preferable)
- Network of contacts on the customer side to establish a strong portfolio within the market
