Imperium Commodity Search is working with a long standing international trade house with a successful history of supplying Oil products to the Global markets. With over two decades of experience trading Marine fuel / Bunkers and Lubricants to the shipping industry through their physical supply set – up within the Mediterranean and global trading business. The company is seeking an experienced trader to continue their steady growth within this competitive sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Promote the companies physical supply operations within the Mediterranean to ship owners, operators, charterers and traders.
  • Handle bunker enquiries globally – across all major ports within Asia, European, Middle East and US.
  • Responsible for contract and spot trades within the Bunker, Marine fuels and lubricant markets.
  • Enhance existing relationships with Physical suppliers within Asia, US, Middle East to support clients requirement on supply of fuel.
  • Stay in touch with third parties – Brokers and Research houses to provide accurate market and price data reports to clients

 

Experience:

  • 4 + years experience in a back to back bunker / marine fuel trading or Customer sales within a physical supplier.
  • Solid understanding of the Mediterranean market to promote the companies physical supply operations.
  • Understanding of Marine fuel Supply and trading regulations and documentations across global ports.
  • Fluent in English (Italian or another Language would be preferable)
  • Strong portfolio of customers within the international Bunker market preferable.
