Title: Senior Biofuels Trader
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Singapore
Salary – 90-130,000SGD
Imperium Commodity Search is looking for an experience biofuels trader to join our global agricultural trading client in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Trade in biofuels/biodiesel and ethanol across APAC/Europe.
- Work with the logistics/operations team to ensure smooth operations of the trading book
- Put together market insights/reports on the global biofuels/petchem space for the trading team
- Build and maintain relationships with firms across biofuels trading and production, increasing the trading book for the firm across the APAC region
- Work closely with senior management on trading strategy and new ventures, looking into new geographies and regions
Experience:
- 12 years’ experience on physical biofuels trading
- Degree educated
- Experience across biofuels and ethanol with a strong knowledge of tanker chartering and operations
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Able to travel when required
