Job Title: Head Accountant (Metals Trading)
Salary: Circa 80-100,000SGD/annum
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Singapore
Imperium Commodity Search is assisting a Singapore based physical metals trading firm in their search for a senior / head accountant for their team. Our client is active in the physical trading, supply chain and logistics within the metals markets across Asia, Middle East and Africa.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day accounting and bookkeeping tasks as required by management
- Work with CFO on the preparation of quarterly and annual budgets, reporting and analysis
- Act as the sounding board for audit queries internally
- Deal with contracts, paperwork and invoices for the firm and liaise with local tax authorities
- Work with internal teams on reconciliations, reporting and budgetary materials
Requirements:
- 7+ years’ experience in a senior accounting position or finance manager position in a commodity trading firm
- Good knowledge of accounting and payroll functions
- Experience with XERO
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Degree educated with accounting qualification (part qual will not be considered) ACCA or similar
