Quality Manager | Marine Fuels

Title: Quality Manager (Marine Fuels/Bunkers)
Salary: Negotiable 
Location: APAC (Remote)

Imperium Commodity Search is confidentially retained by a well-established global Bunker Fuel Supplier and Trading business looking for a bunker fuel Quality Manager to supervise the quality process of the products provided within the company’s bunker trading and supply activities.

You will be:

• Ensuring consistent quality management and proposing improvements across the supply chain for bunkers/bunker fuels
• Providing technical advice for blending and commingling cargo if necessary
• Supporting the sales team in addressing customer claims regarding quality and discrepancy of delivery quantities
• Liaising with laboratories and developing relationships with third parties in the bunker/marine fuel space
• Responsible for all the testing for the physical operation
• Accessing comprehensive quality information and providing data to internal teams when requested
• Providing technical advice to departments regarding biofuel and methanol fuels
• Assisting the sales team in delivering presentations and providing technical advice to customers
• Addressing issues and taking preventative measures in case of specification problems

We would love to speak to you if you have:

• 5+ years in marine fuel/bunker fuel quality analysis at a laboratory
• Marine engineering experience on ocean-going vessels
• Knowledge of ISO standards and other industry regulations
• The ability to travel to Southeast Asia when required
• Fluency in English; Mandarin and Cantonese proficiency preferred
