Title: Origination/Sourcing Manager (Grains & Oilseeds)

Salary: Base Commensurate w/ Experience + Direct Commission
Location: Romania (Office/Hybrid/Remote)
Imperium Commodity Search is retained by a cross-asset agricultural commodity trading house, headquartered in Dubai and seeking an experienced purchase manager in grains and oilseeds to establish a sourcing market in the country. Our client is looking for a professional who is able to build procurement volumes on FCA and CPT terms, sourcing from Romanian producers and overseeing truck logistics to the Constanța port.
You will be:
- Developing relationships with grains and oilseed suppliers across Romania
- Purchasing grains and oilseeds (maize, wheat, soybeans, barley, rapeseed, etc.)
- Negotiating and signing contracts on FCA and CPT (truck) terms
- Monitoring grains and oilseeds pricing, seasonality, competition and freight rates
- Arranging and controlling trucking to the Constanța port.
- Handling documentation when required
We would love to speak to you if you have:
- 6+ years of experience in procurement (grains and oilseeds)
- Active network of Romanian farmers and suppliers
- Strong knowledge of the Romanian agricultural market
- Experience in truck logistics and supply chain optimization
