Job Title: Compliance Support / Branch Manager

Imperium Commodity Search is exclusively working with a Market leading International Commodity Brokerage seeking a Compliance support / Branch manager to join the team in their new office location in Houston. The company has a fantastic culture and environment to support their growing energy broker business and teams across multiple locations domestically and Internationally. The company has a strong presence within the Energy Brokerage sector with a wealth of experience across multiple products. with ongoing growth plans and projects underway this is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative and entrepreneurial business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting the Senior management on assessing compliance processes across their Brokerage business.
  • Working closely with Brokers / Operations / Head of Compliance to ensure all Trade contracts / Terms are captured and listed in coordination with company policy.
  • Analysing all trade executions across physical and Financial Energy products – Monitoring efficiency and regulatory stats.
  • Assist Brokers / Senior management on the Drafting of Oil & Gas Trade contracts (Physical & Financial).
  • Support middle office teams across their multiple locations in On-boarding processes, KYC, Contract reviews, Legal & Compliance tasks.
  • Review of platforms and technologies used by Brokers Such as ICE Chat / Bloomberg / Phone logs are compliant.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 + years’ working within a Bank / Fund / Brokerage / IBD (Inter Broker Dealer) / Trade House.
  • Understanding of the technologies and platforms operated within a commodity brokerage (Beneficial)
  • Experience in working within a middle / back office post across compliance / operations / trade support / Analyst / office management position.
  • Series 3 license beneficial
  • Desire to work within an innovative and dynamic business with support to further acquire market knowledge &  qualifications (Series 30 potential)
  • Efficiency in analyzing data and logging reports to present to senior management.
  • Located in Houston (or willing to relocate)
