Imperium Commodity Search is currently retained by one of the most experienced boutique Commodity Brokerage shops in the Houston area, with a vastly experienced desk set up across Physical and Derivative markets within the Energy space. Our client is looking to expand their Naphtha desk in the US seeking an experienced broker or Trader / Sales specialist looking to move into broking with experience in the light ends sector.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for broking / brokering physical and derivative Naphtha products.
  • Manage relationships with produces of light end products across the US & Canada.
  • Conduct market analysis for the Naphtha, Butane, Propane and LPG markets producing market and pricing reports for clients.
  • Offer market and operational insight for the flow of Lights ends by Rail, Road and Pipeline across the US and Canada.
  • Stay up to date within Naphtha, And light end markets globally – Europe, Americas, Asia & Middle East.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years’ experience within the Physical or Paper / Derivative Naphtha markets or related light end products (C3, C4 or LPG)
  • Proven track record of managing a profitable book of Naphtha broking /trading business within the global markets.
  • Good analytical and pricing skills to produce market reports and price indexes to your suppliers and clients.
  • Network of clients/contacts within the international Light ends and Naphtha markets.
  • Located in Houston (willing to relocate)
