Job Title: Marine & Jet Fuel Trader

New Exciting opportunity for an established Bunker/Marine Fuels & Jet trader to join a dynamic & niche trading house located in the picturesque principality of Monaco. With a strong presence within the MED and European ports, our client has strong relations with all major suppliers offering MGO, Bunkers, Lubricants and Yacht spec fuels to an established portfolio of customers.

With an existing portfolio of Military accounts and contracts, we are seeking an experienced Marine fuel / Jet trader with experience of liaising and managing military requirements within global ports.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing trading strategy of Bunker / Marine fuels / MGO / MFO within global ports.
  • Day to Day management of military requirements for marine fuel / Bunkers & aviation grade fuel.
  • Concluding and negotiating supply contracts within global ports to supply various Naval ships.
  • Continuous communication with Naval and military operators to ensure all requirements are met for their fleet.
  • Ensure all trades are executed in a timely fashion with collaboration with the operations and finance departments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a trading house or physical supplier of Marine fuels / Bunker / MFO / MGO and Jet fuel.
  • Experience dealing with Marine fuel operations within Global ports, specifically MED and Europe.
  • Key knowledge of bunkering operation regulations within various geographies.
  • Experience within key account management (Military or Navy account management beneficial)
  • Fluent in English (European languages beneficial)
