Title: Marine Fuels – Trader / Sales

With a market that’s seen numerous changes over the last few months and the implementation of IMO 2020, our client is focused on supplying greener fuels/biofuels to the marine industry, with an innovative supply chain and resources to promote to some of the market leaders within the sector.

Great opportunity to join a team of experienced bunkers/marine fuel traders and consultants located across North-West Europe and the ARA (Amsterdam Rotterdam Antwerp) regions, offering Biofuels and CO2 reduction solutions to key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing new business within the ARA / NWE region covering Bunkers / Marine Fuel / Biofuels / Bio-Distillates.
  • Handle bunker enquiries globally liaising with Shipowners, Charterers and traders looking at the Green Energy solutions.
  • Essential to building key relations with Shipowners, Traders, and operators to promote the companies Niche range of Biofuels and solutions to reduce CO2 emissions.
  • Provide clear business strategies for the stay on top of market news and insight, understanding the impact of greener energy within the shipping market.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience in the Marine Fuels / Bunker Market.
  • Solid understanding of the North-West Europe and ARA Region (Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp)
  • Understanding Hedging and pricing tools to facilitate confident and effective trading of bunkers / marine fuels / Biofuels.
  • Fluent in English and either (Dutch, Danish, German or French)
  • Network of contacts on the customer side to establish a strong portfolio within the market to promote marine Biofuels.
