Job Title:  Marine Fuels / Bunker Trading Assistant

New Exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a global Bunker / Marine Fuel supplier as Trading assistant / Commercial Operator. The company has numerous offices globally covering the European, Asian and US markets. Located in Monaco next to the famous harbour with an exceptional culture and working environment.

In addition to a great working environment, offering full training on the day to day activities aligned with market regulations and courses. With the opportunity to work alongside senior traders within the company that prides itself on its “Family Run” business structure.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for assisting Senior Bunker / Marine fuel traders in both Commercial and operational tasks.
  • Day to Day operational tasks covering liaising with the Front office Trading team and Finance departments.
  • Being able to promote the group’s physical supply (Marine Fuels, Bunkers, MGO, MFO, Lubricants, fuel) operations within the North West European Market.
  • Communicating in a timely and efficient manner to ensure all Bunkers operational tasks and documentations are delivered adequately.
  • Maintaining relations with customers and suppliers on the trader’s behalf to ensure enquiries and deliveries are managed accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 Months experience of operations assistant, commercial assistant or retail assistant within the Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proficient and confident communicating within a face-paced international environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining relations with customers and suppliers.
  • Proficient in English both written and Verbal other Language beneficial.
