Title: LPG Trader
Contract type: Permanent
Location: New York or Houston, USA (remote working option)
Salary: Negotiable

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an International trade house headquartered in the USA. The company was built upon market leading statistical analysis and proprietary trading strategies which has grown into the Derivative and Physical markets becoming the trader of choice for many of their clients with diverse product offerings. The company is established within the trade of LPG, NGL’s and other energy products with an ambition to continue their growth domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities:

  • Actively trade LPG across physical and futures, building a profitable portfolio of business Domestically and Internationally
  • Build market relations with LPG & NGL producers and refineries within the US markets, establishing relations.
  • Provide market and price analysis to corporate and institutional clients on the LPG and NGL markets.
  • Work closely with the Risk and operations department to maximise profitability and ensure timely execution of physical and derivative trades.
  • Keep up to date with market flows and trends understanding major trading hubs and markets including Mont Belvieu hub / LDH / non-LDH markets

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience Trading LPG across either Physical or Futures markets with proven track record.
  • Experienced and strong knowledge/understanding of the Mont Belvieu hub / LDH / non-LDH markets
  • Excellent analytical and reporting skills on Market, Price and Risk data.
  • Strong relationships in the LPG and NGL markets with Majors, Producers, Trade houses and brokers.
  • Established portfolio of business within the Energy markets across physical and derivative products.
  • Office locations in Houston or New York (Option to work remotely across the US
