LNG Derivatives broker

Job Title: LNG Broker (Derivatives)
Salary: Negotiable – Dependent on Experience

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a diverse global brokerage looking to grow their LNG derivatives business through the addition of an experienced broker covering the Global Markets with a strong trading broking background within the LNG sector.

Responsibilities:

·Offer full service to existing and new clients within the LNG space with the backing of market leading research tools and analysis.

-Oversee and source derivative trades for an established book of clients (trading houses, refineries, producers, back to back traders etc.) in the energy space (LNG)

-Work with internal teams both Physical LNG Desks and Shipping departments globally to source new relevant data to continue to grow the LNG derivative / JKM markets focus.

·Assist senior management in identifying and managing new Market opportunities and work closely with the desk to offer a full-service solution across risk management. (Physical LNG, JKM, LNG derivatives)

Experience:

·Experience within Brokerage or trading house for the last 5 years covering the energy sector, Combined with 3 years of LNG markets.

·A personal book of existing clients and relations within the market across physical and Paper LNG.

·Excellent understanding of the relevant markets, Henry Hub benchmarks, JKM TTF and relevant index’s.

·Strong relationships within the energy space with proven track record within the LNG trading or broking sector.

-Exceptional communication and relationship building skills with ambition to grow and established desk.
