Imperium Commodity Search is working with a market leading Brokerage / IDB with an international footprint continuing to expand its team here in London. The company have enjoyed strong market coverage within OTC Futures and Options space for many years across the Oil & Gas sector. Over the last couple of years they have diversified their market coverage of Energy product offerings. With further desks being developed over the next coming months we are assisting them in finding ambitions brokers with fundamentals Options experience to join their team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside Desk Head on the Energy Desk covering OTC and Listed options markets to manage and develop a portfolio of Business.
  • Build and Maintain client relations with Banks, Hedge Funds, Traders, Corporates, Institutions, Majors, Utilities to promote the company’s Market leading platform and Execution services.
  • Provide timely market insights to clients producing market data from research houses and pricing platforms.
  • Day to Day monitoring of the Crude, Nat-gas, LNG, Carbon, Coal, Power markets to continue developing knowledge and relations within the Energy Sector.
  • Work with senior management on developing new Futures and Options business with fundamental market participants.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years’ experience working within a trade house, Brokerage, IDM or institute covering commodity Options.
  • Good understanding of Derivative contracts & markets across Futures, Options, Swaps.
  • Strong relationship building and business development abilities, Promoting the company’s market leading solutions platform and services is key.
  • Experience using CME, ICE and Pricing / Market platforms is beneficial.
  • Located in London (or willing to relocate)
