Job Title: Junior Intraday Trader
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Sweden/Finland
Salary: Negotiable
Imperium Commodity Search is working a leading provider of clean energy, managing energy professionals across the Baltics, Nordics, Eastern Europe and India. Our client is continuing their plan for growth by the addition of a Junior Intraday Trader to be Based out of their Swedish or Finnish office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the physical trading team within TAO (Trading and Asset Optimisation)
- Take responsibility for the company’s hydro optimisation strategy on the physical desk
- Partake in the European Intraday Trading activities and assist with the balancing of market movements
- Stay current with new and trends within the electricity market to enable yourself to capitalise on trades
- Build relationships within the market to grow out your own portfolio of business
- Work on a rotational shift of 3 shifts 27/4 per week
Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience working as an Intraday Trader on a physical desk within a trading house
- Have previously worked on a 24/7 shift basis
- Degree education in Economics or Engineering highly beneficial
- Have strong interest in the power market and hold good, up to date knowledge
- Fluency in English and local language is non-negotiable
- Experience working in the clean energy/renewables market
