Job Title: Junior Broker (Physical Oil Products)

Headquartered in London, Focused on the North-West Europe / ARA region broking physical oil products. Due to the recent growth within the business and expanding product offerings, our client is currently seeking a Junior Broker to join the experienced teams focused on a variety of physical Oil Products including Gasoil / Gasoline / Jet Fuel and many more.

If you are an ambitious professional from the Energy Commodities field (Trader, Operator, Analyst or professional looking to move into Broking, our client provides a fast-paced, interactive and high rewarding environment. Working alongside market-leading Brokers and Management with dynamic and innovative platforms and strategies to provide all the tools required for success.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for broking / brokering physical Oil Products Gasoil, Gasoline, ULSD, Middle Distillates across the North-West Europe (NWE) and MED Region.
  • Establish Strong Relations with Oil Majors / Producers, along with the refineries and independent trading houses and customers.
  • Conduct market analysis within the European Gasoil / Fuel Oil and ULSD markets to offer insight and solutions to your customers.
  • Offer risk management services and logistics and operational solutions to both supplier and end user across various ports in the North West Europe AND ARA regions.
  • Manage relations with clients from to start to finish, ensuring competitive prices and product quality is top priorities.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years’ experience within a physical Trading / Broking / Operations / Analyst role within a Trading House / Major / Brokerage.
  • Proven track record of building relations within the energy commodities market sector
  • Strong understanding of the trends and geographies of the various Oil products across the MED and NWE market.
  • Understanding of the operational/logistical functions within the Gasoil, Gasoline, ULSD and Middle Distillates within certain ports across North-West Europe.
