Job Title:  Intraday Power Trader
Salary: Negotiable
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Netherlands

New Exciting opportunity for an experienced Power and Gas Trader to join an established commodity trading house on their Intraday desk. The company is focused on producing as much renewable energy as possible optimizing their assets and customer portfolio.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing Intraday trade strategies across the European Power Markets.
  • Day to Day Execution of Power trades (Intraday) generating a healthy PnL for the group.
  • Extensive knowledge of European Power and Gas markets providing risk and analytical insights.
  • Communicating with the groups Power operations, Financial and Risk desks to ensure efficient and profitable trades.
  • Maintaining relationships with both producers, suppliers and customers within the European Power markets.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 Years trading commodities preferably Power or Gas within Europe.
  • Key of the trends and trading strategies within the Power and Gas Markets.
  • Experience building and maintaining relations with the suppliers and Customers within the commodities industry with large corporate firms.
  • Exceptional understanding of Risk and Data analytics.
  • Masters degree or MSC in the related sector.
