Job Title: Head of Bunker Operations (ARA)

Imperium is currently assisting a Major Bunker Supplier & Global Trading house in their search for a Head of Bunker Operations for the ARA region, the company operates across 100 plus ports global with over 20 physical locations combined with their global trading team. With a physical presence in the ARA region combined with increased demand for Marine Fuels / Bunkers in the ports of Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp we are seeking an experienced Bunker Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and continued expansion of this business.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing relations with the Customers, Traders, Agents and port authorities within the major ports across ARA region.
- Day to Day operational tasks covering liaising with the Front office Trading team and Finance departments managing direct reports.
- Extensive knowledge of Bunker barge operations within the ports of Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp.
- Managing all relevant LC’s and documentations for the Bunker / Marine Fuel transactions to be completed overseeing the operations teams.
- Communicating in a timely and efficient manner to ensure all Bunkers operational tasks and documentations are delivered adequately within the business.
- Work with senior management in developing new operational structures to improve efficiency of business structures and delivery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 experience of operations experience preferably within the Marine Fuels, Bunkers, MGO, MFO,LSFO, Lubricants, fuel oils in an operational capacity.
- Experience working within the ARA region within the marine sector for a physical supplier or Trading house.
- Experience building and maintaining relations with the port authorities, Customers, Traders, operators.
- Working with Regional & Global senior management on developing new operational structures within the business.
- Exceptional understanding of operational regulations and documentations.
- Proficient in English (Another language beneficial)
- Located in Antwerp (Or open to relocation)
