Job Title: Grain Merchandiser
Salary: Negotiable

Location: USA (Mid-West)
Imperium Commodity Search is looking for established Grain Merchandisers / Traders to join a large, successful and well established trading house and their continuously growing brand globally. With a large market share within the Grain sector. our client is looking for an experienced Grain Merchandiser with experience within the Mid-West region with relations within the domestic markets both purchasing and sales.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for building relations with farms and producers within the grain’s marker across the Mid-West.
- Analyzing Grain rates and daily prices, analysis of daily markets offering market insights to customers.
- Developing new business with domestic customers within Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio Etc).
- Building influential relationships with Ethanol producers within the US market to trade grain into.
- Trading activity offering experience of paper hedging, whilst trading physical Grain product into domestic markets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5+ years’ experience of trading Grain or related agricultural products.
- Established network of customers and farms within the Mid-West region including (Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Ohio etc)
- Key knowledge of Grains markets including risk management and hedging tools.
- Fluent in English (Other languages may be beneficial)
- Willing to travel frequently with work to generate new relations within the region.
