Title: Grain Trader (Physical and Futures)
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Denver, Colarado
Salary – Negotiable

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an Established Agribusiness and global trading house. Focused on the full cycle of Agricultural products – with an established network of Farmers and suppliers, Unique operational set up within both Domestic and Export Markets. Complemented by their strength in international trade offering true value in product and pricing.

Responsibilities:

  • Trade Physical and Financial Grain markets with a focus on (wheat, Corn, Soybean, and related Agricultural products.
  • Monitor Trade positions within the risk parameters for financial trades.
  • Manage relations with Suppliers to obtain best purchase price across the Domestic US market.
  • Provide Market insight and Analysis to Clients, Traders, Farmers and suppliers building strong trade relations on Grain and feeds.
  • Responsible for optimizing product quality and pricing, understanding product and customer flows maximizing profitability.
  • Trade Agricultural products on Both Domestic and Export markets, Understanding Operations by Truck, Rail and Freight.

Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience as a Grain Purchaser or Merchandiser within the US / International markets.
  • Existing client relations on Grain, Feed and Agricultural products preferably within the US market.
  • Experience managing Risk and understanding Futures and Derivative product markets within the Agricultural sector.
  • Located in Denver or willing to relocate.
  • Experience in Managing personal and desk PnL or Account management exposure.
