Title: Grain Merchandiser
Contract type: Permanent
Location: Various US
Salary – Competitive
Imperium Commodity Search is currently searching for mid-level/senior Grain Merchandisers or Grain Traders based across the US. Transferable book of business across any grains (wheat, soybean, rice, corn, barley, oats) welcomed.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Expand regional and international trading strategies for grain products
- Build out relationships with producers and end users to develop book of business while managing existing relationships
- Travel to meet clients across farms and businesses where necessary
- Work alongside merchandising desk to track business growth and areas in need of development/improvement
- Maintain sound market knowledge to make use of marketing opportunities across grains
Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience working as a Grain Trader/Merchandiser
- Established client base across Grains (wheat, soybean, rice, corn, barley, oats)
- Ability to travel to meet clients
- Proven experience dealing with grain merchandising process from negotiations, analysis, transport, and sales
- Be eligible to work in the USA
