Imperium Commodity Search has been retained by the international dairy trading company, Pure Dairy, looking to recruit a senior and experienced Trade Director to manage and grow their established global trading book and teams.

Through organic growth and acquisitions, Pure Dairy has grown to a global team of +30 with offices in the U.S, Mexico, Singapore and Australia.

A comprehensive knowledge of global dairy and the ability to service the wants and needs of suppliers and buyers, has seen the rapid growth of the business over a 10-year period, to become more than just a trading house, but an honest service provider and partner to clients globally. Aside from trading, our client offers product design, procurement, planning, execution, quality control, financing, freight services, government regulatory requirements, warehousing and distribution across APAC, EMEA, and the US/LatAm markets.

To facilitate the next phase of growth in the Americas, we seek a highly effective and accomplished leader in global dairy trading, that has previously delivered a growth agenda in a fast-paced complex business.

Key Qualifications / Experience 

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in a senior dairy trading/dairy trader position
• Ability to lead and further develop a team of traders (currently a team of 6 people)
• Exposure to driving operational improvement, whilst ensuring excellent customer service, coupled with the ability to remain on the forefront of dairy market dynamics.
• Existing relationships with both dairy supplier and buyers will be key, supported with the ability to identify new channel growth opportunities.
