Imperium Commodity Search is exclusively retained in pursuit of an experienced Gasoline broker in the US.  Headquartered in the coastal metropolis of Houston, our client is an innovative brokerage bringing new technology and strategy to the Gasoline market. An established team with a wealth of knowledge and experience with a strong portfolio within the Sector. Our client is looking for a dynamic – driven individual with a background in Physical / Financial broking background in the Gasoline market, alternatively an experienced trader with transferable relations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for broking / brokering physical / derivative Gasoline across the Gulf Coast / Mid-Continental / West Coast
  • Establish Strong Relations with Gasoline Suppliers / Refineries / Trading housed within the US.
  • Conduct market analysis within the US / European / Asian and Middle Eastern markets providing market analysis to the clients within trading houses, suppliers.
  • Offer risk management services and solutions to both producers and end users within the physical and derivative Gasoline sector.
  • Promote the innovative online trading platform to trading houses, Suppliers etc allowing you as a broker to conduct business globally with intelligence on new geographies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience Broking/ Trading / Sales within  Gasoline Components / Finished Gasoline.
  • Exceptional record of generating business / Managing relations with strong understanding of the product and requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the trends and geographies of the Gulf Coast Gasoline pipeline / Mid-Continent with the ability to offer customers well rounded solutions to both producers and end users.
  • Fluent in English (additional languages would be beneficial)
  • Network of relations within industry that would be a foundation for building a book of business.
