Title: Futures/ Options Broker (Agriculture)

Imperium Commodity Search is working with a Global Clearing and Execution business that are looking to add an Execution Broker with futures and options experience across Grain and Oilseeds to their Chicago office.
Responsibilities:
- Execute agricultural (grain and oilseed) futures orders mainly on the European futures exchanges
- Work out of US trading hours (6pm-2am) to cover European trading times
- Execute agricultural futures and options trades via platforms such as CTS and TT and ensure trades are executed with no delay
- Stay current with market movements within the Agriculture sector to be able to provide accurate advisory/ analysis to clients
- Be aware of company’s compliance framework and exchange regulations to guarantee all execution and clearing services are in line
- Continue to grow portfolio of new clients while developing existing relationships within the Agri Sector across various products
Experience:
- More than 4 years’ experience as a derivatives broker across Agriculture
- Must hold series 3 futures license
- Transferable book of business within agriculture (grains and oilseeds preferred)
- Futures execution and clearing experience necessary
- Any additional European languages spoken at business level highly favorable (French, German, Spanish, Portuguese)
- Good awareness of the processes and procedures of a futures exchange
