Imperium Commodity Search is proud to be working with a leading diversified futures and options brokerage in the USA, looking to grow their incredibly successful institutional futures/options execution and clearing team.

Our client works across all major exchanges on a diverse range of commodities and financial instruments.  Due to their success in 2017/2018, they are looking to grow their front office team further to capitalise on their growth, and offer new product offerings to institutional clients as well as reinforcing their existing team.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with existing team on product mapping and target accounts, working closely with each other to identify up-sell products and offer a full service clearing and execution offering to clients
• Accept and Execute trades across the target product (metals, energy, oil, gas, agriculture, grain, corn, soybean, soft commodities, foreign exchange or fixed income) and up-sell the firms risk management advisory services and additional offerings to clients, ensuring revenue maximisation across the business unit
• Actively pursue new relationships with institutional clients (banks, funds, professional traders) and nurture existing relationships to ensure the firm remains the clients first choice for prime execution services
• Ensure full compliance with the company’s and exchanges due diligence process
• Offer timely voice and electronic broking services to clients
• Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with start-ups/splits and new desks
• Up-sell other desks within the business to multi-commodity clients

Experience:

• Experience as a futures/options broker servicing institutional client across clearing or execution
• A portable book of business and existing relationships in the market with the ability to grow
• Good understanding of institutional clients and their needs with the ability to build rapport with senior management
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in a diversified multinational brokerage a plus
• Brand ambassador; able to assist in the fast growth of our clients global brand identity and ability to generate relationships at all levels across a wealth of client types.
