Title: Futures Broker
Contract type: Permanent

Salary – Commission only
Imperium Commodity Search is working with a futures and options brokerage house based in California, looking to add a futures broker to their team across voice and electronic brokerage with retail/institutional investors.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain relationships with retail clients and/or institutional investors across commodity products (metals, agriculture, oil, energy)
- Execute futures and options trades on relevant exchanges on behalf of clients
- Actively build relationships with new investors and client base
- Cross-sell products from other desks in the business
Experience:
- 4 or more years’ experience working within an exchange listed brokerage house
- Good network of clients in the institutional/retail space across commodity products (oil, energy, agriculture, metal)
- Excellent understanding of the derivatives market within the futures/options space
- Transferrable portfolio of clients across retail/ institutional companies
- Desire to grow own book of clients
