Imperium Commodity Search is working with a leading Commodity Risk Management & Brokerage firm within the Capital city. The company has combined innovative market changing technology with the experience of their Sales teams globally – Become a partner of choice for many International corporate businesses within the Energy sector. The company is currently seeking an Energy Sales Associate to join the desk in London as part of their expansion plans in the European markets covering (Crude, Refined Products, Biofuels, Nat-Gas, Gasoline, Fuel Oil, Emissions etc).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse client portfolio across the Energy markets covering Corporate business (Airlines, Utilities, Shipping Lines, Oil & Gas Producers etc.)
  • Actively develop business across Energy Derivative OTC markets across Oil, Gas, Jet Fuel, Biofuels, Petrochemicals, LPG, LNG, Fuel Oil, Gasoline etc.
  • Promote the companies Risk Management & Hedging strategies aligned with Innovate technology to support client’s requirements.
  • Identify and structure Energy Derivative Sales opportunities to the European market.
  • Provide clients with market Data, liaising with counter parties such as research houses to keep up to date with trade flows, Price Spreads, Product trends etc.

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience working within the Commodities sales position within a Brokerage, IDB’s, Bank, Trade House.
  • Experience in Energy Derivative products (Futures, Options, Swaps) within the OTC market.
  • Excellent Relationship Management skills, Understanding client’s unique requirements to tailor solutions.
  • Coverage of the European Energy market, Handling Corporate clients within the Aviation, Transportation, Utilities, Oil & Gas Sector.
  • Strong Analytical skills, Ability to produce market and pricing reports across the Energy markets.
  • Located in UK or willing to relocate.
