Opportunity for an experienced Energy Broker to join a Reputable FCM located in London with a long-standing reputation across multi asset classes. The company is expanding its Energy desk across a variety of products. Currently seeking an Energy broker from an Oil / Products / Nat-gas / LPG / LNG background to continue the growth of their cross-product energy desk focused on Futures & Swaps  execution business to head the expansion into new asset classes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for broking / brokering physical Energy Derivatives across Swaps / Options / Futures within the Energy markets globally.
  • Establish Strong Relations Energy suppliers, Producers, Corporates, Banks, Institutions.
  • Produce pricing spreads across Energy sectors (Oil, Nat-gas, LPG, LNG, Oil Products)
  • Offer risk management services & hedging activities to wide range of customers and suppliers within the Energy Markets.
  • Execute Energy traders across the European and continental markets on behalf of Clients.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience within an Energy brokerage (Preferably covering the Oil & Gas Markets)
  • Understanding of Derivative products (Swaps / Futures / Options / Swaptions)
  • Proven track record of building relations within the energy commodities market sector.
  • Strong understanding risk management & Hedging functions, ability to produce pricing and market analysis.
  • Located in UK (Or willing to relocate)
