Imperium Commodity Search is currently working with a market leading Global FCM located in London. As part of their continuous growth strategy across the Energy and Wider commodity classes, they are currently seeking an Electronic Execution broker to their successful desk. The firm operates it’s own in houses trading platform as well as offering clients market access to main Trading platforms. With the market transition to screen and electronic trading the firm is constantly working on increasing its market technology and customer portfolio across a wide variety of asset classes, With a wealth of heritage and pedigree in the financial and commodity markets our client continues to remain one of the leading names in the FCM / IDB industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for executing electronic trades across multiple Commodity classes for Trading firms across the market.
  • Build relations with Commodity trading Firms, Promoting the firms In house trading platform as well as their access to commonly used electronic trading platforms across the Commodity Sector.
  • Execution of Commodity Trades across the Energy (Oil, Oil Products, Middle Distillates, Light Ends) as well as other commodity Index’s – Ags and Metals.
  • Communicate with research houses, Trading Houses, Funds, Banks to convey market trends, Pricing and research analytics across multiple asset classes.
  • Structure and Execute Electronic and Block trades across the commodity market in timely and efficient manner.

Experience:

  • 2 + years’ experience working within a brokerage or Trading house covering Electronic / Screen Execution.
  • Strong understanding of Commodity Index’s as well as knowledge of Futures, Options, Swaps.
  • Strong analytical scope with the ability to produce market and pricing analysis to the Top tier trading Houses, Funds, Institutions.
  • Fluent in English (Another language beneficial)
  • Located in the UK (or willing to relocate)
