Imperium Commodity Search is working alongside an International Broker Shop with a wealth of experience and success in the commodities markets over the last decade. With offices located in the UK and US the group is continuing to expand its vastly experienced desks. Currently seeking a Derivatives broker on their cross-commodity desk covering a range of Markets from Oil through to Carbon.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute trades within the cross-commodity sector covering (Power, Gas, Carbon Coal, Oil, LNG)
  • Build relations with Corporates, Utilities, Institutions and Banks to support their 3rd part requirements.
  • Provide and produce forward pricing curves for various Trading hubs NBP, TTF, JKM etc.
  • Produce and provide accurate market reports with the analytics team corresponding with Research and data houses for live market intel.
  • Work on tailored solutions within the Derivatives market – Futures, Options, Swaps to specific customer needs.
  • Continuously building new relations and identifying new market opportunities to build out the company’s market share.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of brokering experience across the (Power, Carbon, Gas, Oil, LNG or Related markets)
  • Good knowledge of the major trading hubs (NBP, TTF, JKM etc)
  • Prior experience brokering futures, Options, Swaps contracts across various products.
  • Proven record of building managing successful books of business within the commodities markets.
  • Located in the UK or Offices in the US (Willing to relocate)
