Imperium Commodity Search continues to support the growth of an International commodity brokerage that has seen substantial growth over the last few years. The business has transitioned from a boutique shop into a leading market player within the Energy Derivatives sector, maintaining is core business values and working culture that has attracted leading talent from the market. With a strong presence in the Crude Options, Crude grades, North American Crude markets they are seeking and experienced Crude broker – with coverage of the Dated Brent markets to join their team across the US and UK.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Spearheading the company’s coverage of the Dated Brent and related Crude markets, Promoting the companies Execution, Pricing & Analytical services.
  • Establish Strong Relations with Refiners, Majors, Banks, Funds, Traders and Corporates, Identifying and winning new business within the Crude – specifically Dated brent markets.
  • Provide Electronic / Voice execution service to clients across the Dated Brent futures, swaps and options markets.
  • Offer OTC and listed product services whilst developing a global portfolio of clients within Crude / Brent / Dated Brent markets.
  • Ability to utilise flow of business from the firms well established desk across the US and UK identifying new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years’ experience Broking Crude Oil, Brent, Dated Brent or related products.
  • Exceptional understanding of OTC and Listed Energy products, experience in voice and electronic execution of Crude trades.
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of pricing tools – Platts etc as well as knowledge of ICE / CME and other platforms.
  • Ability to work with Senior management in identifying market opportunities as well as implementing their market leading technology into the Crude, Dated Brent market sectors.
  • Network of relations within industry that would be a foundation for building a book of business.
  • Located in the UK or US
