Imperium Commodity Search is proud to be partnered with one of the global leaders in Dairy risk management/broker services. We are assisting our client in the next phase of growth of their desk as they look to add a risk sales/broker to their Dairy team in Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Support the desk on voice brokerage for dairy futures/options risk management programs, working with corporate dairy clients in the region on their hedging/risk strategy
• Develop the market coverage of the desk across South East Asia, notably Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Myanmar etc.
• Build and manage relationships with senior management at dairy producers, traders and sales firms across the region
• Execute futures on exchanges (listed derivatives / listed futures) on behalf of clients, offering full service voice execution
• Learn the ins & outs of the dairy markets from experienced desk head, gaining a solid understanding of the pressures faced by corporate dairy market participants in the area
• Provide general support to the wider desk and operate within a small team of dairy specialists, running as a profit centre
• Present the brand professionally, showing a true desire to assist clients in their risk management needs, showing a passion for the dairy markets, industry and the firms product offering

Experience:

• 4-6 years’ experience in voice execution/risk management platform
• Experience in a commodity based product working with corporate clients
• Client facing experience with the ability to build rapport with senior management
• Futures knowledge as well as listed derivatives and exchange processes/regulations
• True desire to build a career in a niche product with a leading global brokerage
• Hands on approach to problems with the ability to offer support and guidance to both internal and external stakeholders
• Problem solver – the tenacity to go deep into a firm and look at its risk principles and find solutions to them
