Job Title: Crude Oil & Products Broker (Physical/Derivative)

Our Houston based client has been active in the market for around 15 years providing tailor made solutions for the energy sector globally with innovative technology and platforms making them a broker of choice for both commercial and institutional clients. With a focus on the energy markets covering Crude, Refined products, Nat-gas and LNG they offer a range of risk management services to both the physical and derivative markets globally.

Our client is looking to add an experienced Crude & Refined products broker to the team in Houston, with relations in market and strong portfolio of clients within both the physical and paper sectors.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Broker deals within physical & derivative (futures, options, swaps) Oil & Products markets
  • Maintain strong relationships with producers and trading houses across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
  • Monitor and produce market data across the global markets covering Crude, Refined Products, Natural Gas and LNG
  • Provide risk management services to listed clients through derivatives / futures trading offering bespoke execution and solution services.
  • Promote the company’s services both Physical and innovative futures / derivative platforms to build long term customer relations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience within the Crude, Refined Products, LNG, Nat-Gas Markets.
  • Excellent knowledge of futures/options and risk management services to provide a 360 offering to clients.
  • Analytical skill to provide live data to trading houses, producers and financial institutions.
  • Series 3 broking license.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Maintain and develop long standing relations within the Oil industry.
