Imperium Commodity Search have been retained by a leading IDB/FCM within the Global commodity markets their mission to rapidly expand their North American Energy business. We are currently seeking and Experienced Oil derivatives broker or team covering the Canadian Grades / Crude Grades / Crude Oil markets join their team in the US with offices across New York, Houston, Calgary and further locations. The Firm offers a market leading structure with ability to upsell and cross sell the business offerings across Clearing facilities, 24hr execution, Tech platforms etc.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for covering the CAD / Canadian grades markets across derivative products working alongside the senior management developing further coverage aligned with their existing North American Energy business.
• Day to Day coverage of the CAD / Canadian Crude and Grades markets with market analysis across relevant markets, (WTI, BRENT, Canadian Crude, Mid-Continent Crude etc)
• Provide Voice/ Electronic execution services across Oil Futures, Swaps, Flat Price products and Options on ICE, CME and across Listed and OTC Markets.
• Managing client relations across Banks, Funds, Trade Houses, Refiners, Suppliers, Majors within the CAD / Canadian Grades Oil markets.
• Proactively build an establish market relations within the Canadian Grades & Crude Oil space leveraging upon the company’s service offerings and existing market participants identifying new business areas.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4+ Years’ experience Broking Futures, Swaps, Options within the Crude Oil Markets and specifically coverage of the CAD / Canadian Grades markets.
• Experience building a profitable portfolio of clients within the Crude Grades with a focus on Canadian Grades markets with proven yearly revenue generation of $500k + in brokerage fees.
• Understanding of Oil products OTC/Listed markets with relations to market participants across Banks, Hedge Funds, Majors, Refiners, Traders Etc.
• Series 3 Futures license required.
• Located in the NY, Houston, Calgary area (or willing to relocate)
