Imperium Commodity Search is working with a diverse global brokerage looking to grow their corporate energy risk management business through the addition of a futures broker covering corporate energy clients across risk management, clearing and execution business.

Our client offers a strong draw over base with an unrivalled ability to cross-sell products across many asset classes including Foreign Exchange, Global Payments, LME, Interest Rates and Financial products. This opportunity suits a broker with a strong network and book of business who is looking for additional ways to increase their revenue and personal compensation through up-selling and cross-selling alternative products and services to complement their existing book across Energy risk management, clearing and/or execution business.

Responsibilities:

·Offer full-service risk management services to corporate energy clients across the oil, crude, middle distillates, gas, LPG, NGL, LNG, biofuel, nat gas or ethanol space
·Execute futures/options trades both listed and OTC on behalf of corporate clients (trading houses, refineries, producers, back to back traders etc.) in the energy space (oil, gas, lpg, lng, ngl’s, ethanol, biofuel etc)
·Work with internal teams on up-selling/cross-selling risk management services and futures/options clearing and execution business as well as promoting additional services of the firm across the global product mix
·Assist senior management in identifying and managing new target markets/products and work closely with the desk to offer a full-service solution across risk management and futures/options hedging/execution services to corporate energy clients
·Develop and maintain relationships with trading houses, producers, refineries, shippers/storage firms etc to offer risk management/futures broker services
·Offer clearing/execution services to a range of corporate energy clients across the US/Canada market
·Ensure operational fluidity and adherence to compliance / internal audit function
·Execute trades voice/electronic on exchange and OTC markets

Experience:

·Experience within a clearing/execution brokerage or similar banking environment
·A personal book of clearing and execution business with energy clients (oil, gas, LPG, NGL, LNG, ethanol, biofuel, nat gas etc)
·Listed / OTC execution experience across voice and electronic platforms
·Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate clients in the energy sector
·Excellent understanding of futures/options both listed and OTC as well as risk management principles and advisory services
·Strong relationships within the energy space
