Imperium Commodity Search is proud to continue representing an ever growing and market leading commodity brokerage in their next phase of growth.  Our client has teams globally covering a range of commodity and financial products across Agriculture, Soft Commodities, Energy, LME/Metals and Treasury with a focus in the Dublin office on commodities (specifically Agri and Energy).  As part of their ongoing growth plans in the Irish capital, they are seeking to add a senior clearing & execution broker to the team across commodities futures/options listed and OTC markets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Sales/Business Development across relevant commodity products (Energy and Agricultural), promoting the company’s products to corporate clients in the space across trading houses, producers, processors, farms, refineries and end users
• Identify new opportunities in the market, keeping up to date with market analysis, updates and news to promote relevant services to commodity clients
• Offer voice & electronic execution services across futures, options and swaps in commodity trading/hedged products
• Manage clients in both Listed and OTC derivative markets
• Ensure timely and accurate trade execution on behalf of commodity, energy and agricultural clients
• Assist with market analysis, commentary and distribution of reports
• Promote and cross sell over services and products of the brokerage across commodity execution, clearing and advisory services as well as complementary financial services and FX hedging products
• Attend market conferences and industry events for networking and promotional purposes
• Ensure consistent and growing revenues across your client book, seeking out value added and revenue driving services as well as ensuring execution revenues are maintained

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of OTC and/or exchange traded/listed futures and options
• Excellent knowledge of a relevant commodity market across agricultural or energy commodities
• Sales/business development experience and proven track record on revenues in a brokerage environment
• Good communication skills and presentation ability both over the phone and in person
• Fluent in written/verbal English (other languages beneficial but not required)
• Good IT/software and systems ability
• Relevant CBI qualifications/certifications and ability to meet ‘fit and proper’ criteria
