Imperium Commodity Search is working with a European Oil Supply and Trading company, The trading arm has been a key player within the supply and global trade of Marine Fuels & Bunkers globally for many decades. A company built on heritage and experience, becoming one of the most renowned independent businesses in market. They are currently seeking an Experienced Bunker trader to cover the SEA Region with coverage of the Korean Market, the role can be worked remotely or within the region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Represent and promote the company’s bunker trading and physical supply operations to Local Ship owners, Operators, Trading Companies, Brokers etc
  • Spot and contract trades of Bunkers across the SEA region, building relations and credit lines with local suppliers within the main shipping ports.
  • Day to Day Trading of Marine fuels (MGO, LSFO, Lubricants, Fuel Oil etc) across Asia executing business timely and efficiently.
  • Strong understanding of operational tasks, Letters of Credit (LC’s) compliant and relevant documentations.
  • Responsible for developing tailored solutions to meet clients fuel requirements across SEA for a diverse range of vessels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience working as a Bunker / Marine Fuels Trader / Broker / Sales within an International company.
  • Established customer relations with Ship Owners, Operators, Trading Houses, Suppliers within Korea and SEA region.
  • Understanding of Trade operations, Contract structuring and compliance – relevant to the marine fuels sector.
  • Proven experience in generating profitable business in the global trade / sales of Marine Fuels.
  • Located in Korea (or remote within Asia)
